On my recent trip to Ward Lake in the Sierras, I took an off-road trip outside of Edison Lake. I took my camera with me, and I liked the moody sky that was over the lake. I went on the Onion Springs Trail and was pleased with the way my new 4x4 traveled off road. I was hoping to get some vista views off of the trail, but the sky kept getting grayer and it started to rain on my way back to the lake. If you've never been up here, the lake has a small resort, store, restaurant, ferry service, and a nice campground. The fishing is pretty good here and its' a nice family destination.
