St. Michael's Cave, Gibraltar (+3)
peggyhr posted a photo:

The St. Michael's Cave formations are colourfully lit and visitors can read displays documenting the caves' history. The
network of limestone caves are located within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, at a height of over 300 metres (980 ft) above sea level.
The cave was created by rainwater slowly seeping through the limestone rock, turning into a weak carbonic acid which gradually dissolved the rock. Through this process, tiny cracks in the Rock's geological fault grew into long passages and large caverns over thousands of years. The numerous stalactites and stalagmites in the cave are formed by an accumulation of traces of dissolved rock deposited by water dripping from the ground above. It is the most visited of the more than 150 caves found inside the Rock of Gibraltar, receiving almost 1,000,000 visitors a year.
The largest of the chambers, named the Cathedral Cave, currently serves as an auditorium. The cave is also used to hold concerts of all music genres, from operas and philharmonic orchestras to pop and rock. Summarized from Wikipedia.

Gibraltar Airport - 210924 (3)f
Ann Collier Wildlife & General Photographer posted a photo:

Gibraltar International Airport (GIB) is located in Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory at the southern tip of the Iberian Peninsula. It is situated just 1 mile from the center of Gibraltar and is unique due to its location, with the airport?s runway crossing the main road that connects Gibraltar to Spain. This makes it one of the most unusual airports in the world, with traffic occasionally halted when planes are landing or departing.
Opened in 1939, the airport has been vital for both civilian and military aviation. During World War II, the airport played an important role in the defense of the region. Over time, it evolved into the airport that serves both commercial and private flights today, with routes primarily linking Gibraltar to other European cities. The airport is a critical point of entry for travelers visiting Gibraltar, with its proximity to Spain providing an important connection to the wider region.
Facilities and Infrastructure:
Gibraltar International Airport has one runway, Runway 09/27, which is 1,829 meters (6,001 feet) in length. While the runway is relatively short by international standards, it is capable of handling narrow-body aircraft, such as the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320, but it cannot accommodate large wide-body aircraft like the Airbus A380.
