    Grad unutar grada ? Alhambra nije bila samo pala?a, nego ?itav kraljevski grad s pala?ama, vrtovima, kupali?tima, d?amijama, vojarnama, radionicama i upravnim zgradama.
    Nasridske pala?e ? Najpoznatiji dio kompleksa odlikuje se izuzetno bogatim ?tukaturama, geometrijskim ornamentima, kerami?kim plo?icama i arapskim kaligrafskim natpisima.
    Dvori?te lavova ? Jedno od najpoznatijih dvori?ta Alhambre krasi fontana koju nosi dvanaest mramornih lavova, simbol snage i kraljevske vlasti.
    Napredan sustav vode ? Voda je dovodena iz planine Sierra Nevade slo?enim sustavom kanala i akvadukata te je opskrbljivala vrtove, bazene i brojne fontane.
    Vrtovi Generalife ? Generalife je slu?io kao ljetna rezidencija nasridskih vladara, poznata po rasko?nim vrtovima, mirisnom cvije?u i ?umovima vode.
    Pad Granade ? Godine 1492. Granada je osvojena od strane katoli?kih kraljeva Ferdinanda i Izabele, ?ime je zavr?ila gotovo osam stolje?a muslimanske vlasti u ?panjolskoj.
    Pala?a Karla V. ? U 16. stolje?u car Karlo V. dao je izgraditi renesansnu pala?u unutar kompleksa Alhambre, stvaraju?i jedinstven spoj dviju arhitektonskih tradicija.
    Geometrijska savr?enost ? Ornamenti Alhambre temelje se na iznimno slo?enim matemati?kim uzorcima koji i danas fasciniraju arhitekte i matemati?are.
    Washington Irving ? Ameri?ki knji?evnik boravio je u Alhambri 1829. godine te napisao poznato djelo ?Pri?e iz Alhambre?, koje je pridonijelo svjetskoj slavi ovog spomenika.
    UNESCO-ova svjetska ba?tina ? Alhambra, Generalife i povijesna ?etvrt Albaicín upisani su na UNESCO-ov Popis svjetske ba?tine 1984. godine.
    Inspiracija umjetnicima ? Svojom jedinstvenom ljepotom Alhambra je nadahnula brojne slikare, pisce, skladatelje i filmske redatelje te se smatra jednim od najromanti?nijih povijesnih lokaliteta Europe.
